Petit château construit au 17e siècle à partir ou à l'emplacement d'une construction plus ancienne, accompagné d'un pigeonnier. La maison forte est un logis rectangulaire bâti en moellons de granit, flanqué d'une tour carrée. Un petit corps de bâtiment lui a été accolé vers 1850 pour abriter le logement du régisseur. Les intérieurs ont été redécorés à cette époque. Le pigeonnier, tour circulaire basse et trapue, est un exemple bien conservé de cette typologie plutôt fréquente dans les Limagnes, mais rare dans la Châtaigneraie et le bassin d'Aurillac. Au rez-de-chaussée, sous le fenil surmonté du pigeonnier, se trouve une petite chapelle dont le décor peint est caractéristique du début du 17e siècle.

History
Small castle built in the 17th century from or at the location of an older construction, accompanied by a dovecot. The fortified house is a rectangular dwelling built in granite rubble stone, flanked by a square tower. A small building was added to it around 1850 to house the steward's lodging. The interiors were redecorated at this period. The dovecot, a low and squat circular tower, is a well-preserved example of this typology rather frequent in the Limagnes, but rare in the Châtaigneraie and the basin of Aurillac. On the ground floor, under the hayloft surmounted by the dovecot, is found a small chapel whose painted decoration is characteristic of the early 17th century.
