En 1868, la création d'une ligne de chemin de fer reliant Clermont à Tulle est décidée, prévoyant un embranchement à Eygurande pour permettre l'exploitation des mines de charbon. En 1882, ouverture de la ligne dont la bifurcation n'atteint que Largnac. En 1887 est créée la ligne Aurillac - Mauriac. History
In 1868, the creation of a railway line connecting Clermont to Tulle was decided, providing for a branch at Eygurande to enable the exploitation of coal mines. In 1882, opening of the line, whose branch only reached Largnac. In 1887 the Aurillac - Mauriac line was created.
