Historique
Maison construite en 1802 pour le compte d'une famille rurale aisée. Elle comprend un premier ensemble constitué d'un logis principal, prolongé à l'ouest par un bâtiment abritant la laiterie et la bergerie et, à l'est, par un bâtiment servant d'étable et de logis annexe. Une deuxième construction, isolée, à usage de porcherie, s'élève au sud. Le logis principal s'inspire de l'architecture bourgeoise du 18e siècle (façade en pierre appareillée à quatre travées classiques, portail accosté de pilastres ioniques, fenêtres à linteaux à agrafes stylisées) , et est orné de décors inspirés de l'art populaire. L'intérieur du logis a conservé ses aménagements d'origine : salle commune avec cheminée, évier, potager, vaisselier, porte-fontaine encastrés ; trois grands lits clos plus un petit sous l'escalier ; salon avec lambris ornés de motifs au pochoir ; chambres garnies de boiseries, alcôves et cheminées.

History
House built in 1802 for a well-to-do rural family. It comprises a first group consisting of a main dwelling, extended to the west by a building housing the dairy and sheepfold and, to the east, by a building serving as a stable and secondary dwelling. A second, isolated construction, for use as a pigsty, rises to the south. The main dwelling is inspired by 18th century bourgeois architecture (façade in dressed stone with four classical bays, portal flanked by Ionic pilasters, windows with stylised clasp lintels), and is adorned with decoration inspired by popular art. The interior of the dwelling has retained its original fittings: common room with fireplace, sink, cooker, dresser, water-fountain door set in; three large box beds plus a small one under the staircase; sitting room with panelling decorated with stencilled motifs; rooms furnished with woodwork, alcoves and fireplaces.
