Historique
Réservoir de la gare réalisé entre 1898 et 1903 selon un modèle type reproduit à plusieurs exemplaires sur la ligne Figeac-Arvant. Après l'abandon de la vapeur, ces réservoirs furent désaffectés. Cet ouvrage se compose d'une tour cylindrique dont la base maçonnée est revêtue d'un appareil en opus incertum, percé de baies néo-romanes. La superstructure en surplomb est garnie d'un bardage de planches de bois protégeant des intempéries la cuve métallique à fond sphérique contenant 100m3 d'eau. L'alimentation s'effectue par tuyauterie. L'accès au réservoir est possible par échelle de l'intérieur comme de l'extérieur. Ce château d'eau est le dernier de la ligne subsistant intact.

History
Station water tower built between 1898 and 1903 according to a standard model reproduced in several copies on the Figeac-Arvant line. After the abandonment of steam, these reservoirs were decommissioned. This structure consists of a cylindrical tower whose masoned base is faced with opus incertum, pierced with Neo-Romanesque openings. The projecting superstructure is furnished with wooden plank cladding protecting from the weather the metal tank with spherical base containing 100 cubic metres of water. The water supply is by piping. Access to the reservoir is possible by ladder from inside as well as outside. This water tower is the last on the line subsisting intact.
