A partir d'une maison bourgeoise de 1830, l'architecte Raynaud, assisté du sculpteur Gourgouillon, a créé vers 1910 un petit château néo-Renaissance construit en pierre calcaire. Le corps de bâtiment primitif a été agrandi d'une aile perpendiculaire, d'une tour d'escalier polygonale sur la façade nord et d'une tour porche surmontée d'un campanile sur la façade sud. Les détails architecturaux et décoratifs sont représentatifs du style éclectique et ostentatoire en vogue à l'époque.

History
Starting from a bourgeois house of 1830, the architect Raynaud, assisted by the sculptor Gourgouillon, created towards 1910 a small neo-Renaissance castle constructed in limestone. The primitive body of building was enlarged by a perpendicular wing, a polygonal stair tower on the north façade and a porch tower surmounted by a campanile on the south façade. The architectural and decorative details are representative of the eclectic and ostentatious style in vogue at the time.
