L'église fut reconstruite en 1966, après sa destruction lors de la Seconde guerre mondiale, par l'architecte Hermann Bauer. Le choix de cet architecte révèle une volonté délibérée d'adopter une vision moderne en matière d'architecture religieuse. History
The church was rebuilt in 1966, following its destruction during the Second World War, by the architect Hermann Bauer.
