Le domaine des Enclos, aussi nommé Parc Callouste Gulbenkian se compose d'une demeure et d'un parc du 18ème siècle. En 1937, Calouste Gulbenkian, enthousiasmé par la splendeur du lieu, devient propriétaire du domaine afin d'y créer un havre dédié au calme et à la réflexion méditative. Il fait appel alors à l'architecte-paysagiste Achille Duchêne. Un plateau de grande ampleur et essentiellement couvert de résineux surplombe l'ensemble. Une allée majestueuse sert de structure au parc d'agrément et conduit au «grand scénario», au terre-plein s'ouvrant sur un escalier qui mène, quant à lui, à un espace dégagé en forme de demi-cycle.

History
The domain of Les Enclos, also named Parc Callouste Gulbenkian, comprises a dwelling and a park of the 18th century. In 1937, Calouste Gulbenkian, enthused by the splendour of the place, became owner of the domain in order to create there a haven dedicated to calm and meditative reflection. He then called upon the landscape architect Achille Duchêne. A plateau of great extent and essentially covered with conifers overlooks the whole. A majestic avenue serves as the structure of the pleasure park and leads to the "grand scenario", to the terrace opening onto a staircase which leads, for its part, to an open space in the form of a half-cycle.
