Le logis présente, au regard de l'architecture en pan de bois, une structure d'exception. On y constate un encorbellement avec sommiers, assemblés dans les poteaux montant de fond, et une sablière en saillie portée sur l'épaississement en console des poteaux courts. Les archaïsmes constatés sur l'ossature (sole qui servait de seuil à la porte d'entrée et supporte aux angles les poteaux corniers) ajoutés à des aménagements originaux (deux portes à l'étage sans galerie ni latrines, la boiserie à plis serviettes qui entourait l'escalier à vis) font du logis un édifice du plus haut intérêt. Il s'agit peut-être d'une ossature à longs poteaux du 14e siècle, reprise dans la seconde moitié du 15e siècle, voulant imiter un encorbellement sur sommiers.

History
The dwelling presents, in regard to timber-framed architecture, a structure of exception. There is observed a corbelling with girders, assembled in the posts rising from the base, and a projecting sill plate carried on the thickening in console form of the short posts. The archaisms observed in the frame (sole that served as threshold to the entrance door and supports at the angles the corner posts) added to original arrangements (two doors at first-floor level without gallery or latrines, the pleated cloth-panelled boarding that surrounded the spiral stair) make of the dwelling a building of the highest interest. It is perhaps a frame with long posts of the 14th century, re-used in the second half of the 15th century, intended to imitate corbelling on girders.
