Le fief de Douville appartenait à la fin du 15e siècle à Jean de Maillet, anobli en 1522. Par alliance, la famille prit possession au 17e siècle du château de Friardel. History
The fief of Douville belonged at the end of the 15th century to Jean de Maillet, ennobled in 1522. Through alliance, the family took possession in the 17th century of the château of Friardel. The manor consists of a first dwelling (late 15th - early 16th century) with a fireplace set within a stone gable wall.
