History
This church is representative of the great urban churches of the late Middle Ages and the Renaissance. It was built on the site of an old chapel dedicated to Saint-Jean and placed under the patronage of the abbey of Bec-Hellouin. The choir was erected in the 13th century. Enlargements took place in the 15th and 16th centuries (nave, tower, bell tower, chapels). It includes stained glass windows from the 15th and 16th centuries. Major restoration work was undertaken from 1868.
