Le domaine du Champ-Versan était dans la mouvance du Camp-Bénard, dont les possesseurs portaient le titre de seigneurs de Cambénard et de Champ-versan. Le plus ancien détenteur est Regnault de Hesbert, écuyer. Lui succède bien postérieurement, cité dans un acte de 1733, Jacques-Pierre Bazin, conseiller du Roi, toujours qualifié de seigneurs de Cambénard et de Champ-versan. Les lieux sont possessionnés par la même famille Bazin tout au long du 18e siècle. En 1786 est inhumé Jean-Baptiste, Louis Bazin de Sainte-Honorine, ancien garde des sceaux près le parlement de Rouen. Au siècle suivant, la famille d'Harambure succède aux Bazin.

History
The domain of Champ-Versan was in the seigneurial jurisdiction of Camp-Bénard, whose possessors bore the title of seigneurs of Cambénard and Champ-versan. The oldest holder is Regnault de Hesbert, squire. He is succeeded much later, cited in a deed of 1733, Jacques-Pierre Bazin, counsellor of the King, still qualified as seigneurs of Cambénard and Champ-versan. The places are owned by the same Bazin family throughout the 18th century. In 1786 is buried Jean-Baptiste, Louis Bazin de Sainte-Honorine, former keeper of the seals near the parliament of Rouen. In the following century, the family d'Harambure succeeds the Bazin.
