Le château actuel a été construit en 1685 par T. Fallet de Bernières, trésorier de la fabrique de Bény, sur une construction plus ancienne. Il comporte six travées en façade. Dans la seconde moitié du 18e siècle, son fils Claude-François Fallet de Bernières a agrandi le château, avec l'ajout de deux travées, un retour d'équerre sur la cour d'honneur et la construction des communs (avec pressoir, boulangerie et écuries) et de la chapelle. History
The present château was built in 1685 by T. Fallet de Bernières, treasurer of the fabric of Bény, on an earlier construction. It has six bays on the façade. In the second half of the 18th century, his son Claude-François Fallet de Bernières enlarged the château, with the addition of two bays, a right-angled return on the courtyard and the construction of the service buildings (with press, bakery and stables) and of the chapel. A park was laid out; it preserves its original design with its avenues and hornbeam hedges; an orangery bordered by a gallery for use as a greenhouse and surmounted by an Italian-style balustrade was also built.
