History
A first medieval fortress is built around 1200. The majority of the present building dates from Jean and Pierre d'Harcourt, whose building campaigns begin around 1480 and end around the middle of the 16th century. The château is characterised by numerous towers and a flamboyant façade with luxurious wall decoration enhanced by ornate dormers. Inside, the final embellishment works date from the beginning of the 20th century.
