La première mention d'un moulin adossé à la deuxième pile du pont remonte à 1371. Il s'agit d'un moulin à grains. Moulin et pont ont été plusieurs fois endommagés ou détruits par les violentes crues du Tarn. Celle de 1758 détruit partiellement le pont qui est définitivement abandonné. A partir de cette date, le moulin a empiété sur le tablier du pont. En 1881 et 1882, d'importants travaux sont réalisés, donnant au moulin et à la pile leur aspect actuel.

History
The first mention of a mill leaning against the second pier of the bridge dates back to 1371. It was a grain mill. The mill and bridge were several times damaged or destroyed by violent floods of the Tarn. That of 1758 partially destroyed the bridge which was permanently abandoned. From that date, the mill has encroached on the bridge deck. In 1881 and 1882, significant works were carried out, giving the mill and the pier their current appearance.
