History
Hôtel-Dieu founded in the middle of the 18th century, succeeding an establishment from the 16th century. Built on the site of former canonical houses, the building incorporates elements presumably of medieval origin, as well as the chapter house linked to the cloister. Its U-shaped plan presents the characteristics of 18th-century hospital architecture. The chapel features decoration from the early 19th century, combining panels of false marble, grisaille and a ceiling painted in the Pompeian style.
