History
House built between 1930 and 1932 by the Angers architects Hugues Gosselin and Maurice Frappa, for Lucien Collard, an industrialist who operated silk-throwing and weaving mills. The distribution spaces concentrate the desire for ostentation with materials of rich and innovative appearance (imitation marble sheets, suspended staircase in Carrara marble, doors veneered with Macassar ebony, luminous ceiling, opening in glass bricks).
