Il sagit dun domaine acquis en 1859 par Marc Seguin, un spécialiste en mécanique de renom, afin dy installer des espaces et des équipements lui permettant de sadonner à diverses activités scientifiques et techniques. La partie sud du complexe comprend la chapelle, la serre et le bâtiment dhabitation tandis quau nord de la cour sont implantés lobservatoire et des ateliers. Les réservoirs ainsi que le système hydraulique ont été conçus par Marc Seguin pour capter et stocker les eaux de ruissellement en amont du domaine.

History
This is an estate acquired in 1859 by Marc Seguin, a renowned specialist in mechanics, in order to install spaces and equipment enabling him to pursue various scientific and technical activities. The south part of the complex comprises the chapel, the greenhouse and the dwelling building while to the north of the courtyard are situated the observatory and workshops. The reservoirs as well as the hydraulic system were designed by Marc Seguin to capture and store rainwater runoff upstream of the estate.
