L'aménagement actuel du site est un développement évolutif de quatre phases de construction dû à l'accroissement du nombre des employés de la société IBM. Ainsi les trois corps des bâtiments sont en réalité quatre issus des différentes campagnes d'agrandissement du Centre. Le bâtiment en « L » est un complexe résultant de deux phases d'expansion. Terrain situé dans un site exceptionnel (et vierge à l'époque de la construction), un large plateau offrant un horizon dégagé sur les montagnes, la vallée du Var et la Méditerranée.
