L'établissement comprend onze bâtiments blancs et bleus s'inscrivant dans la nature, environnement propice au développement corporel de l'enfant. L'architecture des bâtiments est représentative de la fin des années 30, et s'enrichit d'éléments d'art enfantin ajoutés par les élèves (bas-reliefs en terre cuite, peinture...). Le théâtre de plein air a été ajouté vers 1960.

History
School, originally private, opened in 1935 by pedagogue Célestin Freinet who practised innovative teaching there.
