Le phare, originellement appelé phare de Villafranca avant de devenir le phare du Cap Ferrat en 1860, fut reconstruit, en 1952, d'après le projet de l'ingénieur C. Espitalier qui réalisa une tour pyramidale à pans coupés, en pierre. History
The lighthouse, originally called the Villafranca lighthouse before becoming the Cap Ferrat lighthouse in 1860, was rebuilt in 1952 according to a project by engineer C. Espitalier who created a pyramidal tower with cut angles, in stone. The dwellings were restored, taking the form of a large rectangular traditional house, as well as the service building and engineering works (walls, stairs, terraces) in the vicinity of the tower.
