Building of squat truncated-cone plan with six storeys above a basement and ground floor, developing large apartments around the central well of the grand staircase. Building constructed in 1929-1930 from plans drawn in 1928 by Georges Dikansky. La Rotonde illustrates the trend of classicizing art deco developed by the architect in continuity with the great Parisian exhibition of 1925.
