La construction du château actuel remonte au 17ème siècle. Elle combine un aspect féodal et une fonction résidentielle. History
The construction of the present castle dates from the 17th century. It combines a feudal aspect and a residential function. The main dwelling rises over three levels and is flanked by two round towers. The division of the interior volumes dates from the early 19th century. The interior layout is organized on either side of a square-plan staircase cage. The austere exterior of the castle contrasts with the interior decoration made of very elaborate plasterwork. The decoration extends over the entire staircase cage: the groined vaults of the vestibule and of the two landings, over the tops of the doors of the noble floor level and around the perimeter of the core. Fireplaces with plasterwork decoration as well as a monumental fireplace furnished with a hood visible in the south apartment remain. Finally, a basin for probably multipurpose use is arranged close to the castle.
