Historique
Fief connu à partir du 14e siècle. Le château, construit probablement au cours du 15e siècle, appartient à la typologie des hautes tours donjons quadrangulaires, flanquées d'une tourelle contenant un escalier à vis et surmontées d'un couronnement défensif autour d'un chemin de ronde. Vers 1850, travaux de restauration destinés à le rendre habitable (toitures, percement de baies néogothiques, décors intérieurs ). L'enceinte médiévale qui entourait le donjon a conservé son tracé, une partie de ses murs et trois tours de guet carrées. Différents bâtiments de communs ont été bâtis au 18e siècle (maison de gardien, grand pavillon ouest) et au début du 20e (grange et hangar nord-est, dépendances à l'est). Un parc a été aménagé par le paysagiste Treyve.

History
Fief known from the 14th century onwards. The château, probably constructed during the 15th century, belongs to the typology of high square keep towers, flanked by a turret containing a spiral staircase and surmounted by a defensive crown around a wall-walk. Around 1850, restoration work intended to make it habitable (roofs, opening of neo-gothic windows, interior decorations). The medieval enclosure that surrounded the keep has retained its outline, part of its walls and three square watch towers. Various service buildings were constructed in the 18th century (keeper's house, large west pavilion) and in the early 20th century (barn and north-east hangar, dependencies to the east). A park was laid out by landscape architect Treyve.
