History
Despite its medieval appearance, this castle consisting of a large circular tower with a half-projecting staircase turret and covered parapet walk was built in the middle of the 16th century: built in brick with thin walls and lacking truly effective defensive elements, it was essentially intended to serve as a dwelling. Moreover, wall paintings were executed at the end of the 16th century by the lord of the place who drew inspiration from mythological themes and architectural drawings. This building thus appears particularly original both by its architectural archaism and by its painted decoration, testimony to the personality and culture of one of its occupants.
