Historique
Immense carrière souterraine qui recense 137 traces rupestres allemandes datant de la Première Guerre mondiale. Une seule sculpture y a été découverte (il s'agit d'un blason) , ainsi que quelques graffiti patronymiques et des dessins. Les aménagements faits par les Allemands ne sont plus guère visibles, la carrière ayant été réouverte après la guerre et utilisée comme champignonnière. History
Immense underground quarry which records 137 German rock engravings dating from the First World War. Only one sculpture was discovered there (it is a coat of arms), as well as some patronymic graffiti and drawings. The arrangements made by the Germans are barely visible, the quarry having been reopened after the war and used as a mushroom farm. This quarry, already in operation in the mid-16th century, possesses hundreds of graffiti predating and postdating the war of 1914-1918, made for the most part by quarrymen (16th to 19th century). Other graffiti testify to the occupation of the place by civilians sheltering during the invasions of 1814 and 1870.
