Cette halle, la seule conservée de Thiérache, a été construite entre 1819 et 1821 en remplacement d'une autre, détruite en 1720 par un incendie. C'est un édifice rectangulaire, composé d'un vaisseau et de bas-côtés séparés par des poteaux de bois reposant sur des dés de pierre. Le soubassement en brique est surmonté par un colombage. L'édifice, clos pendant la Première Guerre mondiale, sert actuellement de salle des fêtes.

History
This market hall, the only one preserved in Thiérache, was built between 1819 and 1821 to replace another, destroyed in 1720 by fire. It is a rectangular building, composed of a nave and aisles separated by wooden posts resting on stone plinths. The brick base is surmounted by timber framing. The building, closed during the First World War, currently serves as a function hall.
