Grande église en brique sur soubassement de grès, formée de quatre parties : une nef divisée en deux travées, séparée du choeur, de même largeur, par un transept, et un imposant donjon de plan carré. Il comprenait à l'origine trois niveaux, et est flanqué de deux tours de plan circulaire, percées de nombreuses meurtrières : sur les 60 meurtrières repérées sur l'ensemble, 42 appartiennent au donjon, dont la plupart groupées sur les tourelles. Bel exemple d'adaptation de la structure de l'église antérieure à la double fonction militaire et religieuse.

History
Large brick church on a sandstone base, formed of four parts: a nave divided into two bays, separated from the choir, of the same width, by a transept, and an imposing square-plan keep. It originally comprised three levels, and is flanked by two towers of circular plan, pierced with numerous arrow slits: of the 60 arrow slits identified over the whole, 42 belong to the keep, most of them grouped on the turrets. Fine example of the adaptation of the structure of the earlier church to the dual military and religious function.
