Edifice bâti sur un emplacement utilisé depuis le Moyen Age qui y avait déjà dressé un donjon. Le château actuel, bâti au 19e siècle, remplace un édifice rectangulaire que devait accompagner un parc. La commande fut passée par Etienne Goujon, médecin et sénateur de l'Ain, à l'architecte Tony Ferret. La construction présente quatre faces différentes, alliant symétrie et dissymétrie. L'entrée principale classique, donnant sur le parc, se compose d'un porche avec des décors en applique rappelant les thèmes des 17e et 18e siècles. Edifice built on a location used since the Middle Ages which had already erected a keep there. The present castle, built in the 19th century, replaces a rectangular edifice which must have been accompanied by a park. The commission was given by Etienne Goujon, physician and senator of the Ain, to the architect Tony Ferret. The construction presents four different facades, combining symmetry and asymmetry. The main classical entrance, opening onto the park, consists of a porch with appliqué decorations recalling the themes of the 17th and 18th centuries. The facade facing the village is the most ostentatious, with its keep. Faces of Etienne Goujon's two sons decorate, still in appliqué, the corner with the north facade. The circulation of the main facades was reserved for the owners, while that of the lateral accesses was intended for servants. Inside, a vestibule leads to the main reception rooms. At the centre is found the great hall, adorned with stuccowork and painted medallions. The south hall is hung with silks. The bookcases of the library are completed by a tapestry.
