Eglise édifiée dans la seconde moitié du 19e siècle, dans le style néo-classique d'inspiration romano-byzantine, par l'architecte Bossan (élève de Labrouste, qui a également réalisé la basilique Notre-Dame de Fourvière à Lyon). Eglise construite de 1867 à 1899, consacrée en 1878, ailes est et sud achevées en 1888, choeur aménagé en 1899.

History
Church built in the second half of the 19th century, in the neo-classical style with Romanesque-Byzantine inspiration, by the architect Bossan (student of Labrouste, who also designed the Basilica of Notre-Dame de Fourvière in Lyon). Church constructed from 1867 to 1899, consecrated in 1878, east and south wings completed in 1888, choir arranged in 1899.
