Historique
Etablie en 1812 (date portée) par Michel-Martin Guillaumet, la tuilerie Sans-Pareil comprend un four et sa pièce de séchage. Agrandie vers 1854, elle a cessé son activité avant 1900. Le four est un four intermittent à flamme directe, à laboratoire voûté, avec deux foyers et quatre canaux de chauffe. Construite en moellons de calcaire et couverte d'un toit à croupe en tuile plate, la pièce de séchage, seul exemple recensé en Basse-Normandie, est pourvue de deux rangées d'ouvertures régulièrement ménagées sur chacune de ses élévations et équipées de volets en bois permettant de moduler l'aération. Le four est à l'état de ruines.

History
Established in 1812 (date marked) by Michel-Martin Guillaumet, the Sans-Pareil tilery comprises a kiln and its drying room. Enlarged around 1854, it ceased operations before 1900. The kiln is an intermittent direct-flame kiln with a vaulted chamber, with two fireboxes and four flues. Built of limestone rubble stone and covered with a hip roof of flat tiles, the drying room, the only example recorded in Lower Normandy, is provided with two rows of openings regularly arranged on each of its elevations and equipped with wooden shutters allowing the ventilation to be modulated. The kiln is in a state of ruins.
