Historique
Reconstruite en grande partie vers 1880 par Benjamin Bohin, cette tréfilerie d'aiguilles et d'épingles avait pris sa véritable dimension industrielle à partir de 1856, lorsqu'elle fut victime d'un incendie destructeur en 1877. Vers 1901, de nouveaux agrandissements lui furent à nouveau apportés. Depuis, le site, abritant canal, bassin de retenue, chaufferie, cheminée d'usine, ateliers de fabrication, bureau, conciergerie et hangar, n'a pratiquement pas été modifié. Il est le seul établissement en pays d'Ouche à poursuivre une activité traditionnelle de la région, déjà signalée au 18e siècle. Travaillant d'abord à la force hydraulique, il avait commencé à la Restauration par produire des boucles de sellerie pour les frères Bouilland.

History
Largely rebuilt around 1880 by Benjamin Bohin, this needle and pin wire-drawing mill had achieved its true industrial dimension from 1856, when it was the victim of a destructive fire in 1877. Around 1901, it underwent further expansion. Since then, the site, housing a canal, retention basin, boiler room, factory chimney, manufacturing workshops, office, lodge and shed, has scarcely been modified. It is the only establishment in the pays d'Ouche to continue a traditional activity of the region, already noted in the 18th century. Working first by hydraulic power, it had begun at the Restoration by producing saddlery buckles for the Bouilland brothers.
