Château d'un grand domaine viticole du Biterrois édifié de 1883 à 1885, dans le style éclectique, réalisé par l'architecte Louis Garros et le paysagiste Eugène Bülher. La rare qualité de la construction et de son décor s'explique par la fortune des deux anciennes familles bourgeoises, Abel Gaujal et son épouse, fille du banquier Lagarrigue, enrichies avant l'exploitation massive de la vigne dans la région de Béziers. Le style associe le néo-gothique au néo-Renaissance. Le vaste hall présente une galerie d'étage et s'ouvre sur l'escalier éclairé par une verrière au décor de fleurs et d'oiseaux. History
Castle of a large wine-growing estate in the Biterrois region built from 1883 to 1885, in the eclectic style, designed by architect Louis Garros and landscape designer Eugène Bülher.
