Historique
Edifice de montagne, bâti au cours de la période gothique et remanié au 18e siècle, le clocher ayant été élevé en 1766. Le décor peint du choeur et des deux chapelles latérales a été réalisé au 19e siècle. De plan rectangulaire, l'église comporte une nef à trois travées et un chevet plat. Contre le mur Est du chevet a été ajoutée une sacristie au plan en étrave. L'accès se fait à l'ouest par un clocher carré accolé à la façade ouest médiévale. A l'intérieur, une voûte en berceau plein cintre en bois, ornée d'un décor de faux appareil, couvre la nef. Les deux bas-côtés sont couverts de la même façon. Côté ouest, la nef comporte une tribune à deux niveaux. Le choeur est séparé de la nef par un arc triomphal dont le diaphragme est doté d'un cartouche en relief, surmonté d'une palmette et cantonné de volutes, orné du trigramme du Christ. Le centre de l'intrados de l'arc est orné d'un médaillon peint montrant le Christ en majesté entouré d'anges et de saints. De part et d'autre, sont peintes les armes d'un évêque et d'un pape.

History
Mountain edifice, built in the course of the Gothic period and altered in the 18th century, the bell tower having been erected in 1766. The painted decoration of the choir and the two lateral chapels was executed in the 19th century. Of rectangular plan, the church comprises a nave with three bays and a flat chevet. Against the east wall of the chevet a sacristy has been added with a square plan. Access is from the west by a square bell tower attached to the medieval west facade. Inside, a barrel vault with full round arch in wood, ornamented with a decoration of false ashlar, covers the nave. The two aisles are covered in the same way. On the west side, the nave comprises a gallery with two levels. The choir is separated from the nave by a triumphal arch whose diaphragm is fitted with a relief cartouche, surmounted by a palmette and flanked by scrolls, ornamented with the monogram of Christ. The centre of the intrados of the arch is ornamented with a painted medallion showing Christ in majesty surrounded by angels and saints. On either side, are painted the arms of a bishop and a pope.
