Historique
La seigneurie de Luchat apparaît dans les textes en 1553. L'architecture du domaine s'organise autour du logis rectangulaire. Au sud, ce dernier est précédé d'une grande cour bordée de dépendances. Au nord, il ouvre sur un jardin à la française, composé de petites allées et de buis taillés. Ce jardin donne accès au bois par un portail finement mouluré et dont la grille de fer forgé est d'origine. L'intérieur conserve un escalier du 18e siècle, à volées droites et rampe en fer forgé, logé dans un pavillon hors oeuvre. Le pigeonnier du 16e siècle est isolé dans un champ. En pierre de taille, il est coiffé d'une coupole à assises concentriques, ornée de trois lucarnes et d'un petit lanternon. Les 400 boulins sont des nids globuleux en terre cuite.

History
The seigneurie of Luchat appears in the texts in 1553. The architecture of the estate is organized around the rectangular main dwelling. To the south, the latter is preceded by a large courtyard bordered by outbuildings. To the north, it opens onto a French garden, composed of small paths and clipped box trees. This garden provides access to the wood by a finely moulded portal whose wrought iron grille is original. The interior preserves an 18th century staircase, with straight flights and wrought iron handrail, housed in a separate pavilion. The 16th century dovecote is isolated in a field. Built of ashlar, it is topped with a dome with concentric courses, decorated with three dormers and a small lantern. The 400 boulins are globular nests of terracotta.
