Historique

History
The seigneurie is mentioned in 1344. The construction of the new main dwelling takes place around 1599. At the Revolution, the property is sold as national property. The main dwelling is situated at the back of the courtyard, occupying the west wing of a quadrilateral formed by three wings of outbuildings. The eastern front is flanked by two towers covered with pepperbox roofs with dormers with acroter details. The pedestrian and carriage gates were defended by a hourd of which only the consoles remain. The main dwelling rises two storeys over a base and presents dormers with triangular pediments with acroter details with ball finials. A tower is found in the north-east angle on the courtyard; a second in the south-west angle on the garden. The axial door is punctuated by columns supporting an entablature crowned with a niche with statuette and framed by two oculi. The elevation on the garden side is austere and without decoration. The interior preserves monumental fireplaces. The salon is decorated with panoramic wallpaper depicting hunting scenes. The decoration, rare, is typical of the late 16th and early 17th century.
