Historique
En 1491, Olivier de Coëtivy, seigneur de Faye, démembra une partie de la terre de la seigneurie en faveur de Jehan Gallet. Une cour entourée de bâtiments de communs, un logis en fond de cour appuyé d'une tour carrée hors oeuvre sur l'élévation postérieure, forment l'ensemble du fief Gallet. Une glacière se trouve au sud des bâtiments. Une chapelle, dont il reste le campanile, se trouvait à droite du portail nord-est. Un deuxième portail permettait l'accès par l'aile sud-ouest. Le logis présente, sur cour est, une élévation de cinq travées, percée de baies à frontons-pignons sculptés de masques. La porte axiale est ornée de pilastres et d'un fronton cintré. Le logis se poursuit vers l'ouest par des communs plus bas. L'intérieur conserve des cheminées des 17e et 18e siècle.

History
In 1491, Olivier de Coëtivy, lord of Faye, dismembered part of the land of the seigneury in favour of Jehan Gallet. A courtyard surrounded by outbuildings, a main dwelling at the back of the courtyard supported by a square tower projecting from the rear elevation, form the entirety of the Gallet fief. An ice house is situated to the south of the buildings. A chapel, of which the bell tower remains, was located to the right of the north-east portal. A second portal allowed access via the south-west wing. The main dwelling presents, on the east courtyard, an elevation of five bays, pierced with openings with sculpted pedimental gables bearing masks. The axial door is adorned with pilasters and a round-arched pediment. The main dwelling continues towards the west by lower outbuildings. The interior preserves fireplaces from the 17th and 18th centuries.
