Connu dès le milieu du 19e siècle. L'atelier de tuiliers gallo-romain ne nous est parvenu qu'avec son four, en trés bon état de conservation. Il a fait l'objet d'une fouille en 1991-1992. De plan carré (6 mètres de côté) entièrement construit en terre cuite, ce four présente l'intérêt sa sole, la base du laboratoire ou chambre supérieure et, fait rarissime, une rangée de tuiles canal (imbrices) qui n'ont pas été déchargées après leur cuisson.

History
Known from the middle of the 19th century. The Gallo-Roman tile-maker's workshop has come down to us only with its kiln, in very good state of preservation. It was the subject of excavation in 1991-1992. Square in plan (6 metres per side) entirely constructed in terracotta, this kiln presents the interest of its floor, the base of the laboratory or upper chamber and, a very rare occurrence, a row of channel tiles (imbrices) which had not been removed after their firing.
