Le castrum de Servières est mentionné en 1250. La maison forte date du 13e siècle, et a conservé son logis-donjon et sa basse cour assez peu remaniés. History
The castrum of Servières is mentioned in 1250. The fortified house dates from the 13th century, and has retained its main dwelling-keep and its lower courtyard relatively little altered. The building is formed of a rectangular building of three storeys flanked, on the side of the escarpment, by two towers. It is protected, on the opposite side, by an enclosure formed by buildings of various periods which appear to follow the original plan. The openings date from the 15th century. Internally, the old arrangement subsists on the ground floor with vaulted rooms. The storeys were subdivided in the 18th century and the rooms received rustic decoration (French ceiling; wallpapers; painted wainscoting).
