Historique
Eglise priorale affiliée à l'abbaye de la Chaise-Dieu, évoquant le type de l'église bénédictine avec une travée de choeur réduite permettant aux stalles de choeur, aujourd'hui disparues, des développements liturgiques. L'édifice se compose de trois travées sans transept, seules deux chapelles latérales marquant un décrochement ; une abside pentagonale aux fenêtres lancéolées. La travée de choeur supporte le clocher sans doute surélevé, à une époque postérieure, d'un étage avec baies géminées qui peut être estimé de la fin du 16e siècle. Le porche d'entrée conserve sa menuiserie d'époque. La chapelle latérale sud, qui est une chapelle seigneuriale, porte des traces de peinture sur la voûte et les murs. Cet édifice présente une appartenance de style avec l'architecture rurale du 14e siècle.

History
Priory church affiliated with the abbey of la Chaise-Dieu, evoking the type of the Benedictine church with a reduced choir bay allowing the choir stalls, now disappeared, liturgical developments. The building comprises three bays without transept, only two side chapels marking a setback; a pentagonal chevet with lancet windows. The choir bay supports the bell tower no doubt raised, at a later period, by one storey with geminate openings which can be estimated from the end of the 16th century. The entrance porch retains its period joinery. The south side chapel, which is a seigneurial chapel, bears traces of painting on the vault and walls. This building presents a stylistic affiliation with rural architecture of the 14th century.
