Cette tour, construite en 1562, était à la charge des habitants de Farinole. Elle a été en service jusqu'à la fin du 18e siècle et disposait de deux soldats et d'un chef de tour. C'est une tour circulaire à l'appareil de calcaire et relève de la typologie classique : trois niveaux (base aveugle, étage percé d'une porte et de baies, terrasse couronnée de mâchicoulis). La brèche côté ouest résulte d'une tentative de percement de porte à la base. Côté mer, les mâchicoulis se sont effondrés.

History
This tower, built in 1562, was at the charge of the inhabitants of Farinole. It was in service until the end of the 18th century and had two soldiers and a tower chief. It is a circular tower in limestone construction and falls within the classical typology: three levels (blind base, storey pierced with a door and openings, terrace crowned with machicolations). The breach on the west side results from an attempt to pierce a door at the base. On the sea side, the machicolations have collapsed.
