History
The tower was probably built, like several other neighbouring ones, around 1559-1560, and was at the charge of the inhabitants of Olmeta. It ensured the safety of the boats of the Capcorsins who set out to develop the lands of the Agriates. It belongs to the classical typology of three-level round towers (a blind base, a storey above the string course and a terrace crowned with machicolations).
