La rue du Four-Dieu est l'une des plus anciennes artères de la ville. Elle était située en bordure des fossés de la première enceinte fortifiée. Les hôtels ont conservé certaines des tours du 13e siècle. L'ouvrage à balustres tournés situé au n°12, est placé dans une cage d'escalier rectangulaire ouverte, épaulée sur deux côtés par un immeuble dont l'un est desservi par l'escalier et l'autre servant d'appui. La partie donnant sur la cour est constituée d'une structure à pans de bois, vide dans sa partie centrale et obturée dans la partie basse de chaque palier et certaines parties hautes. History
The rue du Four-Dieu is one of the oldest thoroughfares of the town. It was situated on the edge of the ditches of the first fortified enclosure. The hotels have retained some of the 13th-century towers. The structure with turned balusters situated at no. 12 is placed in an open rectangular stairwell, supported on two sides by a building, one of which is served by the staircase and the other serving as support. This structure may date from the 17th or 18th century. A wooden staircase, ramp on ramp, with one straight flight per level, serves three storeys. A support ramp with ramping balusters runs along the flights and a handrail with straight balusters is placed at each landing and also punctuates the central void at each storey level. The pommel of the ramp takes up a motif common in Montargis and is later than the ramp.
