Construite en 1911 par Edmond Durandeau, architecte (1870-1960) , alors qu'il résidait encore à Paris. Devenue maison familiale après 1914-1918, elle fut agrandie en 1921 de son aile sur la rue. En 1928, il ajouta une terrasse face à la baie de Chingoudy, une cuisine plus importante et dessina le patio organisé autour d'une fontaine de style art déco entourée de boules de buis et abritée par une pergola à glycine, le tout sous le regard de l'Athéna Parthenos qu'avait réalisée pour lui son ami le sculpteur Sicard.

History
Built in 1911 by Edmond Durandeau, architect (1870-1960), when he still resided in Paris. It became a family home after 1914-1918, it was enlarged in 1921 by its wing on the street. In 1928, he added a terrace facing Chingoudy bay, a larger kitchen and designed the patio organised around an art deco style fountain surrounded by box balls and sheltered by a wisteria pergola, all under the gaze of the Athena Parthenos which the sculptor Sicard, his friend, had created for him.
