Historique
Pierre Loti, nommé au commandement de la station navale d'Hendaye, s'installa dans cette maison en décembre 1891. Il acheta la demeure en 1903 et y fit exécuter des travaux qui la rendirent plus confortable. L'écrivain y décéda en 1923.

History
Pierre Loti, appointed to the command of the naval station at Hendaye, settled in this house in December 1891. He purchased the residence in 1903 and had works executed there which made it more comfortable. The writer died there in 1923.
