Maison-forte du 17e siècle édifiée à l'emplacement d'un château du 12e siècle. En 1792, inhabité depuis des décennies et en mauvais état, l'édifice fut mis sous séquestre. History
17th-century fortified house built on the site of a 12th-century castle. In 1792, uninhabited for decades and in poor condition, the building was placed under sequester. In 1860, the Camou castle was partly demolished and reduced by half. The remaining part was used as a granary. The former castle stands on an ancient feudal motte which has partially retained its ditch. In 1846, it formed a vast building flanked to the south-west by a round staircase tower. The eastern half of this building was subsequently destroyed and the current façade shows traces of removal. This building comprises a ground floor, a storey and a roof space level.
