Mentionné en 1153 par une bulle pontificale parmi les possessions du monastère bénédictin de Sarlat, le prieuré fut reconstruit à la fin du 15e siècle, et détruit définitivement par les Protestants en 1569. Il subsiste les ruines de l'ancienne église priorale, un mur de clôture et son bâtiment d'angle. L'église se termine par une abside à cinq pans et comporte un clocher-porche à l'ouest. La nef semble avoir été agrandie au nord par l'adjonction d'une chapelle entre deux contreforts, de même au sud. Le décor conserve onze culots historiés, dont huit figurent des anges. Du prieuré ne subsiste que le mur de clôture et, à son extrémité sud, un pigeonnier à section carrée.

History
Mentioned in 1153 by a papal bull among the possessions of the Benedictine monastery of Sarlat, the priory was rebuilt at the late 15th century, and definitively destroyed by the Protestants in 1569. There remain the ruins of the former priory church, an enclosure wall and its corner building. The church ends in an apse of five facets and comprises a porch tower to the west. The nave appears to have been enlarged to the north by the addition of a chapel between two buttresses, likewise to the south. The decoration preserves eleven historiated corbels, of which eight depict angels. Of the priory there remains only the enclosure wall and, at its south end, a dovecote of square section.
