Historique
Pigeonnier d'étage, de plan hexagonal, reposant sur six colonnes à "randesses". L'enduit du revêtement laisse voir par endroit un hourdis de briques. Le toit, surmonté d'un lanternon obturé, comporte six pans dont ceux dirigés à l'est et au sud-est, sont percés de deux lucarnes à croupe débordante où sont ménagées les ouvertures d'entrée des pigeons. L'accès à l'intérieur du pigeonnier se fait avec une échelle par une trappe ménagée dans le plancher. Du logis du 17e siècle subsistent la tour centrale d'escalier cantonnée, au même alignement, de deux ailes. L'escalier rampe sur rampe est le seul élément intérieur subsistant du château initial, toutes les pièces ayant été remaniées aux 19e et 20e siècles.

History
Upper-level dovecote, of hexagonal plan, resting on six columns with "randesses". The render of the covering allows brick hoarding to show through in places. The roof, surmounted by an obstructed lantern, has six slopes, those facing east and south-east being pierced by two dormers with projecting hip roofs where the pigeon entrance openings are made. Access to the interior of the dovecote is by ladder through a trapdoor in the floor. Of the 17th-century main dwelling remain the central staircase tower flanked, at the same alignment, by two wings. The ramped staircase is the only surviving interior element of the original château, all rooms having been altered in the 19th and 20th centuries.
