L'immeuble "Bételgeuse", situé dans le prolongement de l'hôtel "Le Flaine" (voir notice PA00118476) est l'un des premiers immeubles construits dans la station à partir de 1966, et illustre le parti-pris moderne de l'architecte par l'emploi du béton brut, notamment pour les panneaux en pointe de diamant sur lesquels la lumière vient jouer avec les ombres des balcons en forte saillie.

History
Created from 1961 at the initiative of developer Eric Boissonnas, the Flaine ski station is linked to the name of the architect Marcel Breuer who directs the team of architects, town planners and developers who design it.
