History
Created from 1961 at the initiative of developer Eric Boissonas, the Flaine ski resort is linked to the name of architect Marcel Breuer who leads the team of architects, urban planners and developers who designed it. Built in raw reinforced concrete with prefabricated elements, and rejecting regionalist style, the hotel "Le Flaine", realised from 1966 to 1968, is representative of the station's architecture and of Marcel Breuer's art.
