Historique
Le choeur, partie la plus ancienne, remonte au début du 16e siècle. La nef a été édifiée entre 1687 et 1692. L'avant-corps ouest a été refait en 1872. Il est rare en Savoie de trouver la nef consacrée à la vie d'un saint. Le choeur a perdu son décor peint consacré aux quatre Evangélistes.

History
The choir, the oldest part, dates back to the early 16th century. The nave was built between 1687 and 1692. The west front was remade in 1872. An initial painted decoration was entrusted in 1827 to the Italian Mucengo whose work, damaged by damp, was restored in 1859 by the painter Ferraris.
